Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account information, such as your name, email address, account identifier, sign-in method, subscription tier, and account status.

Content you choose to save, including names, notes, dates, photos, health-related notes, pet and plant records, vehicle and household records, documents, relationships, memories, and questions you submit to AI features.

Service and security information, such as browser or device type, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, usage counts, error reports, and information needed to prevent abuse and keep the service reliable.

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only the account information those providers make available with your permission. MangoGo Life does not receive or store your Google or Apple password.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure your account; provide, personalize, and improve MangoGo Life; store and display your records; process photos and AI requests you initiate; enforce plan limits; provide support; detect fraud or abuse; and comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private records or photos for third-party advertising.

3. AI features

When you use an AI feature, the text, image, or relevant saved record needed to answer your request may be processed by an AI service provider. We limit the information sent to what is reasonably necessary for the requested feature.

AI results can be incomplete or incorrect. Health, veterinary, financial, legal, and safety-related results are informational only and are not professional advice.

4. How information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help us operate MangoGo Life, including authentication, cloud hosting, database, file storage, email, security, analytics, payment, and AI processing providers. They may process information only to provide their services to us and under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets with appropriate notice and safeguards.

5. Storage, security, and retention

We use access controls, encryption where appropriate, and account-based separation intended to keep each user's private records separate. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep account information and user content while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service. We may retain limited information longer when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, or legal obligations. Backup copies may take additional time to expire.

6. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information and account by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You may disconnect Google or Apple sign-in through the applicable provider. Disconnecting a provider does not automatically delete information already stored in MangoGo Life.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

7. Children's privacy

MangoGo Life is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it when appropriate.

8. International use

MangoGo Life is currently offered from the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
